Massaging your scalp

Before washing your hair it’s good to start off with a great hair growth oil. You part your hair into four sections and evenly apply the oil to your hair. For about 10-15 minutes gently massage your scalp with your finger tips and NOT your nails. Using your nails can cause damage to your scalp leaving it with cuts causing it to stunt your hair growth process. Massaging your scalp is very important because it increase blood flow to the scalp, therefore stimulating hair growth.

Getting your scalp clean/Clarifying your scalp

After you have massaged your scalp with your oil of choice. It’s now time to clean your scalp. Keeping your scalp clean helps with hair growth because a clean scalp means clean pores. Clogged pores can cause the hair not to grow. While washing your hair you can also massage your scalp by using a in shower scalp massager. To help accelerate hair growth.

Eat healthy and take vitamins

Growing hair starts from inside so it only makes sense that what you eat and drink effects your hair. No matter how much you try and take care of the outside, your hair will not grow as it can if you don’t nourish the inside. Eat foods that are rich in vitamin A, C, B, zinc, iron etc. You can get these nutrients from foods such as eggs, dark green vegetables, beans, salmon and plenty more.

Deep conditioning/Hair mask

Deep conditioners and hair mask help retain length by nourishing the hair. Making it stronger and improves its elasticity, which helps with breakage. Deep conditioning makes it more flexible and hydrated. To give this tip a extra boost, try steaming your hair while you have the hair mask in your hair.

Oil treatments

Doing oil treatments such as, hot oil treatments with hair growth oils help nourish the scalp by providing nutrients to the scalp. These treatments also help with dry and flaky scalp. It also seals the hair allowing the moisture to stay in the hair follicles.

Drink water

Our bodies are mostly composed of water. When our bodies become dehydrated if affects how our hair grows. Drinking lots of water hydrates the body and helps with reproduction of the hair cells. This will allow your hair to stay hydrate and continue to grow.

Exercise

Exercising is not only good for your body but it’s great for your hair and scalp also. It increases blood circulation to the scalp, which allows the hair to grow. Not only does it increase circulation but cardio reduces stress. Stress is one the main cause to hair loss and removing it would allow the hair to grow.

Inversion method

The inversion method is where you sit in a chair and flip your hair over towards the ground and massage the scalp for at least seven minutes. Doing this every day for a week will boost hair growth by increasing blood circulation to the scalp. To give this treatment an extra boost try adding a hair growth oil.

Protect your hair

To protect your hair, you must keep your ends trim. This keeps split ends from traveling up the hair, that would make the hair thin and weak. Another way to protect your hair is to sleep on silk pillowcase. This stops breakage on the hair, helping your hair retain length.
