   Many people believe that growing a beard is what makes a boy into a man. While some people can grow a beard without even thinking about it, for others it takes a little more effort. Believe it or not, everything you thing you do takes a part in how your facial hair grows. The most important part of growing a beard has everything to do with testosterone. Depending on how you live your life you can either be constantly lowering your testosterone levels or you can be boosting it. Here are some great tips on how you can grow your beard faster.

Tip # 1: Change your Diet for Beard Growth

What you eat and put in of your body affects the ability to grow a beard. The key ingredients to beard growth would be vitamins D, A, C, E, Zinc, Magnesium, protein, and B5. Incorporating these foods into your diet will get you all of the vitamins you need, eggs, meat, carrots, broccoli, dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, avocado, flax seeds, fish, yogurt, and etc. You can also try taking beard growth supplements and biotin if you feel like your not eating the right foods. Ask your doctor first or try at your own risk.

Tip # 2: Exercise for Beard Growth

By exercising it improves circulation, it also boosts your testosterone. Try starting off the day with a run to get your heart rate up and reduce stress. You can also go to the gym and lift some weights. Lifting weighting also helps boost testosterone.

Tip # 3: Get Enough Sleep for Facial Hair Growth

When you sleep your body regenerates lost cells and repairs damaged skin cells, which help the hair grow. It is best to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.

Tip # 4: Take Care of your Skin for Beard Growth

Healthy and well taken care of skin is a major key to growing a beard. At least exfoliate your skin with your favorite scrub once a week to remove dead skin cells. Never wash your face with hot water, only warm water. Use a mild cleanser to avoid stripping the natural oils your skin produces. Hydrate your skin with moisturizer at least twice a day. Hydrated skin will also determine how well your beard will grow.

 To treat and avoid ingrown hairs, its best to prepare for them. Exfoliating is a great way to avoid them. If you already have ingrown hairs, then mix a cup of water and a tablespoon of baking soda together. Then apply it to the affected areas and leave on for a few minutes, then rinse off using lukewarm water.

Alma oil, you can apply it and leave it on your face for about 15-20, then rinse your face with cold water. Eucalyptus, you can add to your favorite moisturizer and apply to your face.

Tip # 7: Don’t Trim or Shave your Beard So Often.

 If you’re trying to grow your beard do not to keep shaving or trimming it, it’s best to only start trimming it after its fully grown.

 Last but definitely not least, give your beard time to grow. It is not going to grow overnight, for some guys it takes up to a month to grow.
